Our aim is to eliminate ragging in all its forms from the institute.

What Constitutes Ragging?

• ✔️ Any conduct by any student or group of students which causes physical or psychological harm or raises apprehension or fear or shame or embarrassment to a student.
• ✔️ Teasing, abusing, threatening, or playing practical jokes on a student.
• ✔️ Forcing a student to perform acts which he/she is not willing to do.

UGC Regulations for Ragging

As per the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, any act of ragging is strictly prohibited and punishable.

Supreme Court Order

The Supreme Court of India has issued strict guidelines for educational institutions to prevent and eliminate ragging. Non-compliance can lead to severe consequences including withdrawal of affiliation and financial support.
