About NSS Unit
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Polytechnic Vikasnagar was founded in 2010 with Unit 1 to inculcate the spirit of voluntary service among polytechnic students. In 2024, Unit 2 was added to accommodate more volunteers and expand our social work.
Affiliated to Uttarakhand State Technical Education Board, our NSS units organize regular activities like:
– Swachhta Abhiyan in Vikasnagar & nearby villages
– Blood Donation Camps with local hospitals
– Tree Plantation Drives for green campus & environment
– Awareness Programs on health, digital literacy, road safety
– 7-Day Special Camp in adopted villages every year
Our Philosophy: We don’t just build engineers, we build responsible citizens. “NOT ME BUT YOU” is not just our motto, it’s our way of life.
